2nd Week = 3 Cows, 1 Bull (8 This Season!)

You couldn't miss the Maskell Group heading home this year - a trailerful of ATVs & moose! They got the cow earlier in the week, and on the last night, Ryan Wilkin shot a bull. Several of the groups who arrived today had spotted them going the opposite direction - what a sight!

Darren Weese (shown kneeling) pulled the trigger on this nice cow. They hunted with the Barre group, and were able to fill the tag this past Wednesday. Nice job!

Two More Cows

Last week, the hunters in camp filled their tags within the first two days - they got 2 bulls, a cow and a calf. This week is starting out the same! First, Bob from the Maskell group shot a cow... then the Garskey group brought in another cow (shot by Jamie on his first moose hunt!) There's more tags to be filled, so stay tuned...

She loved to eat!

Roy, Serge, Bruce, Brooke, & Brent toast to the bear on the table that Serge just brought in. He got her off Sissney Road, and she's a chubby gal! Short & thick, weighing in at 320 lbs.

FINALLY!

This is Tony's third time hunting bear, and tonight he finally had just the right opportunity! The whole camp is thrilled for Tony - he was getting so frustrated trying to outsmart those clever bears.

Congratulations Greg!

What a beautiful pelt! This bear, shot by Greg from Michigan, has a nice white "V" on her chest. He shot her with a bow, right before dark last night.
