Thinking of warmer days...

We were just sent this nice picture of Kadin... he caught this big pike on Sydney Lake last September.  He likes staying at the outpost with his Dad & brother, but comes back to the main camp for the waterslide.  We're sure to see him on the new water trampoline next Summer!

Bob & Kirk's Excellent Adventure

A little hunting... a little fishing... beautiful warm days changing to snow flurries & whitecaps... these guys came from Michigan well-equipped to experience it all.

Many thanks to the gang from ATVNation.com for chosing us to host their 2011 Ride! What an awesome group of people... some drove as long as 25 hours to come explore the Canadian trails. They found a little of everything - mud, sand, rocks, water crossings - and came upon some wildlife as well. It was a pleasure riding with this great group!

Lots and lots of grouse...

This year has been very good for bird hunting! Pictured are Andrew, Don, Neil & Gord (missing from the photo are Al & Harry) -these guys have been hunting and drinking wine together for many years. We look forward to seeing you again next October!

Movie Night at the Golden Eagle!

The Boutin's sure had a lot of fun at their family reunion... they rented 6 cottages, played games, had a scavenger hunt, and even had a special showing at the Hawk's Haven. What an awesome idea!

After more than his share of jello shooters, Jean-Gilles had the courage to strip down to his boxers and hit the slide! BRRR! Good thing the sauna was nice and hot...
