The tackle wall in our store is well-stocked and reasonably priced.  We'll help you select the right stuff for our waterway and the type of fishing you like to do.  Live bait is also available.

Spring Fishing Season

Fishing has been excellent so far this year!  Here's Wayne with his 5 1/4 lb pickerel caught on the Montreal River today.  Some nice 5-6 lb bass have been caught as well - bass is open year-round in our zone.

Canadian dollar set for long slide as stars align against currency

A new five-year low of $0.8876 was hit last week. According to economists and analysts, there’s no reason that the free-fall will end any time soon.

This means a less expensive vacation for our U.S. guests this year!

What a Winter!

We've had LOTS of snow this season, and some especially cold days.  A true Winter Wonderland (as long as you're bundled up properly!)

We're now recycling!

The town of Matachewan has just started a recycling program.  So each cottage will have a blue bin.  Pick up will be every 2 weeks, so we'll be setting up a holding area at the camp.  A little more work, but worth it for our environment!

Opening Day Success!

Our hunters hung 3 moose on Opening Day of the rifle hunt last Saturday.  The Kennedy group got a bull and a cow in WMU 28 and Meek's group got a bull in WMU 40.  Great job guys!
