More snow today - March 11, 2013

Snowmobile Trails Officially Open

We've been snowmobiling up here since December, but the trails are opening later than usual.  Some warm weather didn't help, a new bridge had to be put in on the A Trail to Elk Lake, and groomer breakdowns slowed things down.  But everything now is groomed and signed - trail conditions are great.  Come up and play!

Brrrrrrr!!

-40 degrees is way too cold to snowmobile, ice fish or anything outdoors!  Our little white dog wears a hunter orange coat so she doesn't get lost.  The air is thick with a frosty fog.  Can't wait for Summer!

A Bull, A Cow, AND A Calf

Special congratulations to Bob Meek's group from Renfrew - not only did they get this nice bull on opening morning, they got a cow the next day and a calf a couple days later!  Way to go!

BIG Bear for Brooke!

A 440 lb bear sure makes a nice bear rug!  Congratulations to Brooke Maskell - in a few more weeks, we'll see if his luck continues for the moose hunt.
